Lauren Baker is an associate practicing commercial and civil litigation at DMG Advocates LLP.
Prior to joining DMG Advocates, Lauren worked at a boutique firm in Toronto where her practice was focused on franchising, class actions and commercial litigation. Lauren provided advice to franchisee and franchisor clients regarding a wide variety of issues such as rescission claims, commercial leasing issues, legislative compliance, and more. Lauren has successfully represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court, as well as the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
While attending law school at Queen’s University, Lauren was a student caseworker at the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic. During her time at the Clinic, Lauren provided legal services related to wills and estates to members of the Kingston community who would not have been able to afford a lawyer otherwise.
