Michelle Alonso de Mesa is a law clerk at DMG Advocates.
Michelle provides support to our lawyers throughout all stages of the litigation process. She assists in client matters from the pre-litigation stage through documentary production to trials or arbitration hearings. She is adept at managing large document collections, assisting in preparing materials for motions, mediations, hearings and appeals. Michelle also has expertise using eDiscovery technology to efficiently manage electronic records and has experience with electronic hearings.
Prior to joining DMG Advocates in 2019, Michelle was a law clerk at a leading national firm where she worked on large commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, product liability matters, and class actions.
Michelle completed her paralegal field placement at one of Canada’s largest housing providers, where she worked on a variety of Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board, and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario matters.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Guelph. She received an Associate Program Certificate from the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
